iTunes Review

Instantly recognizable with his raspy flow and intricate lyricism, New York's Jadakiss has been spitting wisdom since the mid-‘90s, first with The L.O.X., then D-Block, and as a solo artist. Prolific with the mixtapes (this is his eighth in eight years), he presents I Love You as a dedication to his fans, a short-but-solid collection that follows up his previous album The Last Kiss. It's exactly what the people want and expect from him, rugged verses atop grimy beats, with a minimum of floss and a maximum of ferociousness. Guests include Emanny on the single "Hold You Down," Pharrell on "Lil Bruh," and Trae Tha Truth with Rick Ross on "Inkredible," while his D-Block compatriot Styles P delivers a cold verse on "Lay 'Em Down." Refreshingly rowdy music from a veteran mic crusher who shows no sign of slowing down.

Never mind if it's a free mixtape

I'll financially support good music (and this undoubtedly is) but what kind of thank you "fan dedication" tape costs $7.99??
