Album Review
Liverpool's A Flock of Seagulls are best remembered for lead singer Mike Score's hair (and their number ten hit "I Ran [So Far Away]"). The quartet actually scored three lesser hits aside from that archetypal '80s smash. The kinetic "A Space Age Love Song"; the cascading, multi-layered "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)"; and the sweeping "The More You Live, the More You Love" are also included here. The set is fleshed out with non-hits and album cuts that most listeners will find pleasant but unessential (although the neurotic "Nightmares" is quite fun). It's an interesting curio from synth-rock's heyday and all the Flock of Seagulls that anyone aside from ardent fans or '80s junkies needs.

warning!!!... save some $$$... after i downloaded space age love song, i realized that it was NOT the original (and far better) version!! you can find the real version on the platnium and gold collection
Why re-record these classics
Listening to the samples here is painful for those who love 80s music.
save your money...
...and buy a REAL flock of seagulls song or CD. this is obviously rerecorded, and not better than the original. i bought I Ran, and wasted $0.99, the original is awesome, and this is meh. its the same with all of the songs on here. so unless somehow you like this better than the original, go ahead and buy it. but for those who want the original, save money and time, and don't buy any song on here.
