Filur did it better, and did it first
Filur did a version of this song a few years previous to Paris Avenue. There version is a straight up house stomper. The vocals of Magnum Coltrane Price shine and comand in their version. I would recomend it any day of the week. Paris Avenue have released there version of the song. The vocals are weak and ultimately their original version is very forgetable. The talented Stellar Project do what they can to improve upon it. The add their sparkling brand of piano, guitar, and synths to create an excellent production. However, their production is still somewhat wasted, since the vocalist is still rather weak. If their Dub or an instrumental version of the Club mix were included, I would say BUY IT NOW! As is, I say, think carefully about their version if you have already found the Filur version. If you have NOT found Filur's then the Stellar Project version of the song truly deserves your dollar most of the tracks here. Oh, and the track Simply is generic instrumental dance, but surprisingly really really good. It is worth a couple listens and would make a good ring tone.
Great Trac
A solid backbone beat with a satisfactory voice over. I would agree that the Extended Mix is the strongest of four. Myself as PapaGorgio aka “Bronson” of Chicago is a massive follower of what I like to call THRIFTING or Remix. For a $buck$ this is a for sure.
