It is a great song that gives hope and encouragement
Uplifting Lyrics with a Smoky Soulful Feel
This single is uplifting and positive. The strong guitar strumming lines and the subdued squeal of the organ is reminiscent of neo-soul artistry from the early 2000's, but Titus' raspy soulfulness and high-pitched rift at the end, places this piece in the category of timeless. A combination of a strong, uplifting and memorable refrain with a smoky, earthy soulful feel makes for a well-made piece.

Chicago-based singer/actor/songwriter/producer Marshall Titus grew up listening to music greats Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight and the Pips, and Prince. Titus, who started his music career in 1979, began singing with local bands, eventually doing background vocal work during live concerts and on recording sessions. In the '80s, he began putting out his own records and had dancefloor hits. As an actor, Titus appeared in numerous plays, winning a Joseph Jefferson Award for Dreamgirls, and in 1985 he appeared...
