Customer Reviews
iAfrica classics
iAfrica classics caught me of guard, while in the middle of NYC the borough of the Bronx and I just could help but be reminded and taken back home so far and beyond! How could i not yield to those jubilation and yet humbling sounds of our time, the year was 1987 in our village/hamlet settlement, there was "ovandisi", which is livestock sales event and our community was paid. The evining is commotional and everyone is dancing on their toes, seemingly as of there was no calamities awaiting the next day. As of theres no apartheid resistances and suppression still galvanizing and looking on. But the music brought anew light, joy and relentless coalescence, so profound and easily want to die for. Now that i'm on this side of the shore, i can just reminisce on how music liberated and leveled the borders of joy; of haves and haven'ts; of freed and bondaged. This is for sure music for the spirit of humanity....every descended of Africa ought to embrace! We have come a long way and long ahead of us we have to go.
Enjoy all you offspring of Africa.
