Album Review
This seems like an unnecessary collection, considering that All Time Greatest Hits — released on the same label, just five years previously — has all 12 songs on this grandly titled "20th Century Masters" edition, and adds four tracks not on this collection. If it's just the big hits you're looking for, and as a matter of convenience it's easier to acquire this title, it does have the main familiar hits, from "Where Were You When I Needed You" and "Let's Live for Today" to "Temptation Eyes" and "Sooner or Later." Those wishing for more obscure, worthy early cuts like "Mr. Jones (Ballad of a Thin Man)," "Tip of My Tongue," and "Feelings" need to go to Rhino's two-CD Anthology.

Won't Go Bad In A Million Years!
We will never forget those well known sixties bands, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc.
Those guys are great! but we all to often forget groups like this, no kid you ask today would know The Grass Roots... This is the best representation of a fantastic band we need to take a moment to appriciate!
You can't go wrong with any song! Enjoy!
Ooh those Temptation Eyes
I remember when the song Temptation Eyes first was released, I was crazy about this girl named Becky who had brown hair and green eyes. So every time that song would play on the radio I would let her know it was about her. To this day I still think of her when I hear that song and like Becky with the green eyes the song Temptation Eyes is a classic.
Sometimes the Lesser Known Bands are the Best Ones
What makes the Grass Roots so great is that they were ahead of their time. If anyone listened to the Grass Roots for the first time today, they probably would not correctly guess that they were a 60s band. Listening to such great songs like "Temptation Eyes", "I'd Wait a Million Years", and "Let's Live for Today" give the Grass Roots a more modern sound. Perhaps it is for this reason they were not the biggest of all the bands in the 60s. Nevertheless, they are still an amazing band, and anyone who loves classic rock will love their work.
