I fought the war.

Very good dance mix. Utililzes the best aspects of the original in clever ways. Nowhere near as good as the original, but then again, very few things are.

An Exciting Remix

If you like Metric's first album, "Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?" more than "Live It Out", then you may prefer this remix of "Monster Hospital" to the original. It would not be completely out-of-place on "Old World Underground". But even if you like "Live It Out" best, this is a remix to buy. Haines' vocals are excellently used with this new (and if you ask me, improved) groovy music, and the song's most important lyrics are emphasized nicely. Two light criticisms (hence the 4 out of 5 star rating): The choppy gasping noises around the middle of the song are over-done, to the point of sounding slightly disturbing, and the end of the song has an odd, momentum-slowing break where "Stop!" echoes in a slightly cheesy manner. Still, this is a great remix to have.

Quite good

Great throbbing bassline and beat, original song was pretty good already. Good energy. Reminds me of Fischerspooner. A very good remix from MSTRKRFT. Recommended.
