Seriously folks - if you're not listening to this, you're not trying. Out of the shadow of the immortal Bogmen come Vic Thrill. Just try to get your mits around what really is happening here. It's one of the most sonicly inventive creations I've heard in years - worthy of much more than praise - REVERENCE! Don't hesitate! If "Hummingbird Pneumonia" doesn't grab you, "Afrological" will thump you. Nothing wrong on this album - years of intrigue and invention waiting to be unwound inside your starving musical mind. NO WAY to be disappointed here!!!

Feverishly Addictive!

CE-5 has become a permanent shell of spreading barnacle on my skull. This is the ONLY post-punk electronica out there period. This experimental CD is skating on the 'primal-future of-synchopated-beats-with-a-dash-of-paprika' plane. I spend most of my time listening to music on my iPod while web designing stuff from my office desk, and i swear i sit here on the verge of moshing in my seat with a goofy glazed smile. if theres' ever a time where i wanna be the born again guy shaking a snake with his eyeballs rolled back to his head, its due to this little gem. Feverishly addictive my friends. get yourself a copy.

Vic Thrill arose from the ashes of two different New York City bands, the Bogmen and Garden Variety. After the dissolution of these groups, their principal members gathered in N.Y.C. for impromptu jams that led in kinds of crazy directions. Head Bogman Billy Campion was also the impresario of a creative think tank in the city's Williamsburg neighborhood known as the Vic Thrill Salon.
