Hey Rebel Yellers!!
It's shocking that no one reviewed this fantastic album yet. I purchased this on vinyl back in '83 and I still play it and never tire of it--which means it's a CLASSIC! EVERY song is great, Billy's vocals,the melodies, Steve's guitar playing--everything. Even moderate fans will love this one. Idol is a musical genius--to write great tunes with mysterious lyrics, not to mention his performance--he was born to do this.

Forever Idol!!!
A decent album with several amazing songs (and some filler!)
One of Billy Idol's better albums, "Rebel Yell" has a decent amount of good music to offer. With "Rebel Yell" as the best song on the album obviously, "Eyes Without A Face" is a close second (iTunes labeled this song very well in the album description as an "eerie ballad") and "Blue Highway" is also worh noting. Aside from alternate versions of these songs, most of the rest is more "filler-ish." A great blend of Billy Idol's catchy synth-pop with his '80s "hard" rock, and, overall, a good album.
