not what i expected

i have most of there albums and this not as goood as the others 2 me

Different then usual, sorta

I think the band may have explored some uncovered territory a bit with this album. It definitely has a raunchier feel to it than any other of MUCC's albums. The songs are also much more fast-pace. All in all, it's not exactly their best, but the new style worked out all right for them. ^^

As Always, MUCC delivers

Admittedly, I'm a relatively new MUCC fan. But after listening to "Shion", "Kuchiki no Tou", and "6", I can honestly say they're one of my favorite bands. Tatsurou's vocals are so unique--even if a song of theirs comes up when I'm driving that I don't immediately recognize, hearing his voice will at once make me go, "Oh, that's MUCC, of course." The thing that I love is how anguished and melodic he sounds when he sings, but just as easily, the man can scream and growl like a demon. Miya writes their music and lyrics, and I must say he's quite good at what he does! (Not to mention he's an awesome guitarist in general.) Their songs never sound like filler, and you can tell each and every one is a labor of love. Miya (the leader) will not put a song on an album unless he likes the song himself! Though I do like this CD, I think that their "Kuchiki no Tou" and "Shion" albums are better. However, that's not to say that I would dissuade anyone from buying this album. The song "空虚な部屋" [Kuukyona Heya] is probably one of MUCC's best songs, in my humble opinion. If nothing else, get that song from this album, because it's really quite incredible, and really shows Tatsurou's vocal versatility!

Members of the Japanese visual kei movement of the 2000s, Mucc have managed to stand out from the rest of the pack due to their flexible approach to songwriting, which has incorporated nu-metal, industrial, technical thrash, and even disco, all laden with catchy hooks. The band was formed in 1997 by vocalist Tatoo (in 2000, he changed his stage name to Tatsuro), guitarist Miya, bassist Hiro, and drummer Satochi, and was named after a character from a TV show (they're known as 69 as well, since "six...
