Customer Reviews

a MUST have!

Yellowcard has been my favorite band since I was in 4th grade with their album Ocean Avenue alone, later on I looked up more and more by them and got even more into them. This is my 5th album I EVER bought, and for good reason. This album has it all, you can hear the resemblnce of Ocean Avenue and Lights and Sounds, and some songs are even more like a refined One For The Kids. Here's my song by song review-
The Takedown, 5 stars- Excellent way to begin the album, this song is very upbeat and has catchy guitar riffs and tune
Fighting, 5 stars- Great song easy to relate to, also very upbeat and just one of those songs u can't get out of your head
Shrink The World 4 stars- I like this song, just not quite as much, it's the lead singer's favorite on this album though, kinda sounds like what SHOULD be playing at dances instead of the current justin bieber crap.
Keeper, 4 stars- Great song! Easy to relate to, I've even heard it on the radio a few times, and as a side note fun to play on guitar or piano, a bit slower than the past few.
Light Up The Sky, 5 stars- For awhile this was my FAVORITE song, it's catchy great lyrics an you just want to listen to it over and over, great single.
Shadows and Regrets, 5 stars- This song is soo sweet it used to make me cry, Alot like an even better "One Year Six Months" (from Ocean Avenue) it starts out slow then gradually builds up throughout the song
Five Becomes Four, 4 stars- Great song, verry upbeat, and can easily be related to
Afraid, 5 stars- I'd have to say this is one of YC's most underrated songs, this song is amazing and catchy and an all around great song!
Date Line (I Am Gone), 5 stars- I find myself randomly singng this soetimes, another waay underrated song, the chorus is probably my favorite part
Dear Bobbie, 3 stars- It all slows down here, yeah i know that it's sweet he wrote it for his grandparents and stuff but it's a bit too slow, but the lyrics are stil good
You and Me and One Spotlight, 4 stars- Another slower song, but still pretty good, I wwould want this song to be played at my wedding.
Cut Me, Mick 3 stars- 1st i'd just like to say this is NOT an emo song, in fact some people think it's christian, its really great on guitar and everything, it just didnt appeal as much to me, you can try it out though
Paper Walls 5 stars- Great song I managed to get all my friends to listen to, VERY easily stuck in your head and what else can i say, simly amazing
Also don't miss out, on the other version there's a bonus track "Bombers" you won't be disappointed

Favorite band, favorite album

The album is the best, wish they would make more like this.

FIGHTING

Heard fighting on madden and went crazy about how insanly good it was. Love fighting so much but idk about their other songs. Fighting alone gives the whole album .
