I love this album

You know how everyone has a few albums that immediately take them back to a very happy memory or time of their lives? SILY is almost seems designed to be that album. I first heard it in my boyfriend's (now husband's) car. It is light without sounding too pop-ish, and is the perfect, care-free Saturday afternoon backdrop. Close To You is my personal favorite, although everytime I hear Since I Left You, I think of those first few dates and smile. I can listen to this one over and over.

Sheer Genius!!!

I first noticed this band with the Frontier Psychiatrist video. It was so humorously absurd and wonderful, I knew I had to give it a shot. It's one of those CDs where you THINK you might get one or two (maybe three at the most) good songs, and the rest will just be a waste. Well, it proved me wrong. EVERY song on this CD is worth it. Each song is like it's own universe, which upon each listening, just gets better and better. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for these guys to come out with a follow up CD. Stop reading my review, and buy the damn thing already!

Since I Left You ranks number 10 on my all time 100 records

i can't describe the feeling here. its 4,000 samples. a sonic art collage of rhythm, melodies and, movie dialogue. as a music producer it floored me how songs could weave in and out of the air. not to mention to find melodic samples that are the same bpms is a miracle on its friggin own.

i was being driven to a dj gig in (of all places) kansas. and the promoter had this cd in his car. cut to him giving me the cd my for own enjoyment. i spent that whole year with this gem on repeat. ESPECIALLY the genius way they crafted "Two Hearts In 3/4 Time"

i could go on and on.
