Inva de Siva is Spanish for this s**t is awesome!!!
This entire album from start to finish is like a rollercoaster ride with crazy twists and turns. The intire ride is great but there are parts that stand out even more so then others. I first heard Heart Delay in Dreamworks Pictures directing reality series for a video submitted by this guy Kenny Lubo. Anywho I went on to check out YATS other songs and have been impressed and a big fan ever since. This and the first album are just classic stuff that is not getting the exposure it deserves. The band is so cool they even gave let me use their song in a film school project and checked it out too. These are fans musicians people! Talented, unique and in it for the love of music. Pay up suckers so they can make more!!!
Good stuff
As a Pinback fan, I heard of these guys after someone compared them to Pinback. At first I was skeptical, thinking that no one could sound as good as Pinback. But after listening to their stuff, especially Failing at Art, I gotta say that these guys are the truth! Ok, their sound is similar to Pinback, and yes their bassist uses a Stan Clarke Alembic like Zach Smith (however this probably isn't him trying to copy Zach, it's just that Alembics have a sound uncomparable to any other bass out there), but I feel like they use the influence of Pinback and tweak it to make it uniquely their own. If you are a Pinback fan, or a Three Mile Pilot fan I would reccommend this album.
Even though its a Pinback ripoff, I love it.
Based on sound, this gets 5 stars. This is an awesome album. But, they lose a point for ripping off pinback.
