thankyou

At first, you are going to hear With Teeth when this album comes on. It's simple, and short. 2nd time through, you start to notice some things. Like The Downward Spiral, it grows on you. Like Pretty Hate Machine, the songs progress quickly, and like The Fragile, you begin to get an experience out of the album. Is it his best? Of coarse not. Is it free on nin.com? You bet your panties it is.

NIN Slips Into the Surreal

This album was a little hard to digest at first, but it eventually sinked in. I disagree with others who say that it lacks depth. I think it's a very unique album and profound in its own sense. Trent has once caught our attention, while keeping the same essential formula he's introduced into every of his albums. In my own opinion, I view this album as a moment where Trent enjoys being free from Interscope and channels his emotions in the music we hear. Don't miss out these tracks 999,999-Great beginnin 5/5 1,000,000-Good old Trent never misses the F*** word. One of the best in the album. Gotta love him! 5/5 Letting You- Very distorted song, angry and rocking! 5/5 Discipline-1st single, and great choice. It's composed a la "Hand that Feeds" with a little bit of "Were in this Together" 5/5 Echoplex-Love the drum intro, so catchy and fresh 5/5 Head Down-An OK song, but not so bad 4/5 Lights in the Sky-One of your emotional NIN songs. Can't skip it! 5/5 Corona Radiata-Intrumental and slow 3/5 The Four of Us Are Dying-No vocals, just instruments. 4/5 Demon Seed-Very dark and catchy 5/5 Overall rating: 4.5/5

Paying?

Why would you pay for this album when Nine Inch Nails put it up for free on their website? Doesn't seem a little pointless and somewhat of a rip off? Click "yes" if you think iTunes should put this album up for free.

Nine Inch Nails were the most popular industrial group ever and were largely responsible for bringing the music to a mass audience. It isn't really accurate to call NIN a group; the only official member is singer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Trent Reznor, who always remained solely responsible for NIN's musical direction (he was, however, supported in concert by a regular backing band). Unlike the vast majority of industrial artists, Reznor wrote melodic, traditionally structured songs where lyrics...
