A glimpse of early My Morning Jacket
Back before Z and Evil Urges turned them into stars, My Morning Jacket were gaining their fanbase the old fasioned way: amazing live shows. This recording is an example of how they could blow minds back before radio stations picked up on them. This cover of Suspicious Minds is also a testament to how well Jim James can make classic rock and soul songs his own, as he often does at Bonnaroo festival. If you're looking into early My Morning Jacket, this is a good place to start.
Must Have for the MMJ Fan!
Suspicious Minds is extraordinary. You get One Big Holiday and Phone Went West which are fan favorites. Heartbreakin Man is superb as well. Buy this!
