Great Album, reminds me of MGMT

Ladyhawke fuses alt. rock with pop beautifully and reminds me of MGMT, I could listen to this album (especially My Delirium, Back of the Van, Better than Sunday, and Dusk till Dawn) on repeat for days. She manages to craft fun high energy songs, songs for when you just want to chill and daydream, and everything in between. I would definitely suggest buying the whole album because after each listen the songs grow even more on you until they are all you sing in your head!

WOW

this album is fantastic. I've been listening to it since late summer from an australian import. It mixes all the best aspects of Pat Benetar, Fleetwood Mac, and ELO in a way that is fresh and now. I really can't explain how wonderfully amazing she is. Pip is freaking amazing. The guitar blends effortlessly with the synths in a way that makes me feel like I'm 18 again. It's fantastic! just FANTASTIC!

Strong and exposed

I've been looking for an engaging vocalist with melodies reminscent of Blondie and lyrics that resonate with just about every experirence of a woman in her mid-20's -- this is Ladyhawke. I can listen to this album from start to finish, shuffled or with a single song on repeat and enjoy every beat just the same. The purchase is worth every sparkling, glamorous, transatlantic and electro-pop second.
