Album Review
L.A. Guns' most consistent and effective album, Cocked & Loaded manages to balance the underlying darkness of Guns N' Roses' urban outlook with Mötley Crüe's party-anthem glam metal. The songwriting is among their best; "Never Enough" was successful on MTV, and "The Ballad of Jayne," a tribute to actress Jayne Mansfield, was a Top 40 hit.

This what Rock N' Roll is all about people!
The L.A. Guns. If that isn't the coolest band name i've ever heard then shoot me. Not really, but you know what I mean. Not only is their name kickass, but they have music to match! I would argue that this album easily equals Appetite by GN'R, or possibly surpasses it. partially because of longevity, and partially because its better! The ballad of Jayne is one of the beautiful songs ever written, and I rock out to Rip and Tear so much. Phil Lewis is an amazing lead singer!!! I just think this album is the perfect rock N' roll album! The L.A. Guns might have been the best band of the 80's. And even though the ballad of jayne only charted at #33 and they never had another hit again, they are amazing. Not only that but feel so damn kickass blastin this in my car and saying "yeah, i'm listenin to the L.A. Guns." You know you want to feel the same. Buy it!
Great Album
Great album from the era and well worth revisiting! Check out Wheels of Fire (one of my favorite songs of all time), Sleazy Come Easy Go, Malaria, Magdalaine, and I Wanna Be Your Man. The Ballad of Jayne and Never Enough you may remember from MTV of old..

This is a great album every song is great.L.A.GUNS is one of my favorite bands.they have awsome guitar players and great singer.
