This CD of Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola is superbly presented and executed by outstanding musicians, Lara, Scott St. John and the Knights. Not only should the reader personally buy the CD, but stock it for gifts for friends and family. A sheer delight.

I was blown away from the first notes of The Knights in the opening of the Sinfonia Concertante. This is one of my favorite pieces of Mozart's and it is nice to finally hear a recording that does the piece justice on all levels. I am so excited that Lara sounds better than ever and love that you can hear the sibling bond in her and her brother Scott's performance. When they separate and do their own concertos, I find two very different, but completely convincing voices telling their tale. And WHO ARE THE KNIGHTS!!! I haven't heard an orchestra this tight and solid from top to bottom in a long time! Their playing is such a great blend of fire and sophistication. It is so great to hear these two fantastic soloists and a top-notch orchestra bring brilliant new life to some exceptional music!!!

I've never heard Mozart played so well. Both St. Johns and the orchestra are so well-matched. It's been a pleasure listening to this recording. I especially enjoy the Sinfonia Concertante. One of the best classical discs I've bought in a long time. Every disc of Lara St. John's just gets better and better. I highly recommend!!!
