Boxelder...an amazing local band.

The first time I heard Boxelder was at a concert at a local venue in my hometown of Jupiter, Florida. They're genuine sound, blasting guitar solos, and rock steady reggae vibes left me licking my plate and asking for more. After the concert, I purchased this CD outside the venue and immediately fell in love with it. I later found out the band had started out as a local band straight from Jupiter and had slowly carved a name, touring with the likes of Authority Zero, Eka Mouse, and even the Marley family! The Live - Under the Sun album, is by far, the best Boxelder has produced so far. The lyrics of each individual song are vibrant, and full of zeal. The blend of rock with tinges of reggae will remind you of 311, Sublime, or Slightly Stoopid, but there is nothing out there that will prepare you for the sounds of this breakthrough band. A lot more could be said about this band but as a fan I will tell you to check out a live show and the rest will come. Boxelder takes Rock n Roll into overdrive and slams it head first into the island style vibes of rock steady reggae and trust me, it will leave you reeling.

Now for something entirely different... and better

I've been listening to Boxelder since their second CD release, and they only get better with every new album. This album is a collection of live recordings that will absolutely stun you. Few modern bands sound as good live as Boxelder. Their music is a mix of rock and reggae that may remind you a little bit of 311, or even Sublime. Ultimately, their sound is their own. There's no one else out there like them, and that's what makes this album a must have.

Awesome live sound

This band flat out rocks!!! Iv'e turned on so many people to them. This live album is especially fun to listen to when chillin with friends at parties
