Beatles at their peak !
I have the privilege of have met personally Maestro Bonell, and I can tell you for sure that his human beauty and quality are fully imprinted in this new release. If you love The Beatles (as I do), you will never be dissappointed on this album. Maestro Bonell's arrangements are superb and fully on line with The Beatles' legacy. This is where perfection and beauty meets.
The artwork on the album is totally Beatle-style (it reminds me the cover of the yellow submarine album). I'll try to get it as a poster =D

Después de su grabación anterior (Queen), crei q seria muy dificil superar la calidad y calidez de los arreglos. Pero estaba equivocado ! Los arreglos de "Magical Mistery tour" son magníficos !!! Me fascinó la manera como inicia Penny Lane... en verdad, me deja sin palabras. Elegantes y respetando los trazos melódicos orignales, el Maestro Bonell se luce (como siempre)

As a life-long Beatles fan and a former classical guitar student, I could not resist checking this album out. Carlos Bonell is a truly amazing musician and interpreter of these great songs. He plays with so much technical mastery but also with wonderful flair and emotion, emanating from his Spanish guitar heritage. He embellishes the beauty and simplicity of Lennon and McCartney's gems, showing them to us from several fascinating new perspectives. I was particularly intrigued by the beginning of "Penny Lane." What was that first minute? It sounded like John Dowland on steroids. Then, checking the "liner notes," I realized it was (presumably) the folk tune upon which Sir Paul based his nostalgic classic. The whole collection is really fun, inspiring and highly recommended.
Amazing!
This compilation of music is an astounding recreation of the classic Beatles hits. Carlos Bonell executes these wonderful songs perfectly. The entire collection was masterfully created and I play the album constantly! Mr. Bonell is an honest genius.
