Album Review
Gorgeous is 808 State's most vocal-oriented effort, and features a number of fairly anonymous and forgettable guest singers. The record is most successful when it sticks to the group's trademark atmospheric dance instrumentals, although even those are fairly run-of-the-mill.

Its never old to me!
I was dating someone really heavy during that time when we ran across this CD together...weeks later we saw a lazer show and a couple songs were playing, we were so into! Had a couple favorites that still bring back good memories! The CD is great! Almost a high speed ambiant dub mix. Its for those of us that were in our twentys that remember when Dance music was taking on its newest from...Techno mixes and Mainstream Mixes with that crazy 1,2,3,4 beat! Great Music, way before its time!
Electronica at its best
I saw 808 State open up for New Order at the Meadowlands in NJ and was blown away.Was that really 1992? geez.I love there style and looking back now it makes alot of sence that I liked them since I now love DJ's such as Tiesto,Oakenfold,PVD, etc. My favorite tracks are #2 Moses with Ian from Echo and the Bunnymen and I cant get enough of # 10 Nimbus.
