Give 'Em Hell

Give 'Em Hell

With his style of mainstream metal, Sebastian Bach no longer need worry about the latest musical trends. His hardcore audience loves him, and they love the late-‘80s/early-‘90s metal-based sounds of distorted guitars, pounding drums, and Bach’s larger-than-life vocals. As long as the songs capture the right energy and the right sound blasts from the car speakers, it’s a good day. Being a lifelong hard rock fan himself, Bach understands this. So, it's no surprise that 2014’s Give ‘Em Hell features a list of well-known metal and hard rock musicians. His friends Duff McKagan (Velvet Revolver, Guns N’ Roses), John 5 (Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie), and Steve Stevens (Billy Idol) guest alongside guitarist Devin Bronson and drummer Bobby Jarzombek, with producer Bob Marlette (Black Sabbath, Shinedown, Alice Cooper) handling things behind the soundboard. Tunes such as “Hell Inside My Head,” “Harmony,” and “All My Friends Are Dead” click into their natural hard rock grooves; “Gun to a Knife Fight” and “Taking Back Tomorrow” shade toward metal; “Rock n Roll Is a Vicious Game” is a power ballad with modern country accents.
