Meet Dave & Misha
"Speechwriters LLC"; doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, does it? Don't worry, by the time you're done with this album, you'll be begging your friends to give this band a chance. Say hello to Dave and Misha, two guys from California that put out one of the best smooth flowing albums you've heard. "Indie-Folk" might be the best way to describe their tunes but don't let the comparasion steer you away. Each song weaves a story of growing up, love, college, or "A job where you can't think. Driving you to drink." A night with these two is like a night of sex with a gorgeous woman, a strong joint, and a couple pitchers of beer all rolled into a tight 40 minutes. Both Dave and Misha take lead on a number of songs and can equally jam out. Songs: (1) For a great guitar solo, check out "Blood on the Frets", a damned near impossible song to learn. (2) "Chbb", or "Classic Heart-Breaking B*tches", is the catchest tune on the album. (3) "Hostage" is one of my favorites and has a few mini-ballads. (4) "Anodyne" is a perfect example of "The LLC's" songwriting skills, catchy guitar beats, and personability. The LLC is a throwback band of sorts; there is no one stand out single; rather the entire album is worthy of airplay. Try this album, check out their website, and visit them while on tour. LLC goes on extensive tours all over the country via their kickass van...nothing's more exciting than meeting - and enjoying - the company of your favorite band. I've got pictures with the LLC, emailed back and forth, and own all of their albums and live stuff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 10/10 ALBUM.
Brilliant
Near perfect CD. It's a shame more people don't know about them because I'm sure they could be very popular. Highlights: 1. Clones- Jazzy, catchy, hip, cool song about people are the same 2. Blood on the Frets- great lyrics 3. Anodyne- I love the chorus This is one of the best cd's hardly anyone has heard of.

I was on pandora listening to new music when I came across Anodyne which made me want to hear more of their music. Once I sampled their other stuff I had to have the whole album.
