Album Review
On the key cut "26's," Christian rapper Tedashii's slow, deep, and Southern-fried voice blends with backing vocals that are straight out of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, but the unselfish message in the lyrics are something rare in the world of Dirty South or mainstream hip-hop, and how well they're written is rare in any flavor of rap you care to mention. Tedashii's success has much to do with his deep knowledge and appreciation of the world of secular hip-hop and how he applies it to his own music, which answers to a higher calling than bling. Improving on his above-average debut, Identity Crisis rallies against hip-hop's love of money, but it does so by getting to what Tedashii feels is the core of the problem, the younger generation's misguided sense of self-worth. That the man makes his case over beats that would qualify on any Ludacris or Rick Ross album makes it all the more seductive and whether or not you subscribe to his beliefs, you have to admit the lyrics are poignant, vivid, intelligent, and strikingly thoughtful.

CD is FIRE!
This CD is bangin, i couldnt wait for this cd to come out...Reachrecords kept pushing the release day out, but it was well worth the wait. The whole CD is great, here is my top 5 favorite songs. 1)Hollywood-People may disagree with me on this one but it's one of those relaxing laid back songs. I live in Southern California and yesterday i was driving to our local mall that has a really nice scenery and when i played this song it was just so amazing! The chorus by Rozie Turner is sick, if your like me a guy who used to listen to all secular music but then came to the Lord he sounds like Jazze Pha. 2)Make War-This would be my favorite song but i can't relax to it haha but Flame and Tedashii do really well in this song its like a song that pumps u up, i was stoked to hear John Piper in the beginning of the song! An awesome pastor i would recommend reading some of his books. 3)Work-Another great song that keeps you going, Tedashii practically explains why its so great in the beginning of the song 4)26's-Great song Lecrae did another fantastic job with Tdot. 5) I'm a believer-if this song was not a single, it would be my favorite song, but i already has bought it a while ago. Trip Lee who i had the privelage of meeting up at Philadelphia Biblical University and also went to church with him! he RIPS his verse, probably the sickest verse by him ever haha. Great song with a great meaning i Hope this helps, i would by the whole cd tho, its great! God Bless
Off the chain!
First review! .. I'm so glad that God is raising up a generation of GOOD musicians that minister through hip-hop. Christian rap is here to stay and get better. This stuff is better than the secular redundant stuff that's out. Cop this!
