Wow..
I went to Student Life camp at Lee University and saw them lead worship and they did this song. It was amazing seeing it live. I had heard of I Have A River but that was the only song that I knew. When i saw them live, they became one of my favorite Chriistian bands. Their music is about God and God only. It was fantastic. Billy is amazing on the guitar, and Cindy has a truly blessed voice. Buy their new CD coming out soon!!

Billy and Cindy Foote may have just released one of their most timely and significant worship songs! In his book, Live Life on Purpose, Claude Hickman says, “There is a safe kind of disconnection in the singing and worship movement. It has a pretense of obedience but lacks the life to match. It’s easier to sing about obeying than to obey.” I believe that Billy and Cindy have captured the essence of Claude's statement in the lyrics of "IF I SAY I LOVE YOU." Not denying the power
I first heard this song in the Fall of 2006 in the living room of Billy and Cindy. I was challenged that day to examine my faithfulness and the true reality of my heart when I say I love Christ. I have reflected upon the words since that time and am thankful I can now worship along with it as I walk the streets of my city. As one who lives in a culture that has "a form of godliness but denies its power", I am urged in the words to live set apart in the power of God through Obedience and surrendering. Thanks Billy and Cindy for such a great song and urging us to walk truthfully.
