Connecticut hardcore band the Distance formed in 2002 and immediately set about recording their first demos, some of which were released on 7" vinyl over the next couple of years through independent labels like Takeover and Bridge Nine. Comprised of vocalist Jay Reason, guitarist Jon Dobyns, bassist James "Chino" Ward, and drummer Lonn Bologna, the band released a six-track EP, Your Closest Enemies, on Bridge Nine in 2004, and three tracks for a split CD with in-state rivals With...
