An Absolute Delight!

I have bought tons of music this year, mainly film scores (because I'm a film score freak), and I can say without any hesitation that this album is one of the best I have had the pleasure to add to my library. It is an unequivocal wonder and delight from beginning to end. If you are a Patrick Doyle fan, you will not be disappointed. If you are not a Patrick Doyle fan, you will be surprised (pleasantly). One of my favorite tracks is #21 Evil Annie (which is the longest cue--yay!). Perfect soundtrack for October.

I absolutely disagree with you. I think it was perfect for the movie. I actually loved the movie, and will end up buying it. I very much love the music. I only, so far, bought "Eva" but I'm sure I'll buy the rest of the album. The music composed here was simple, yet elegant. Perfect for wanting to be taken away. It was deep, in mysterious ways. And all over, delightful. I think he did a perfect job.

Wow! How incredibly stupid

This movie was stupid and the music was just as. Patric Doyle is a good composer except here. What did he do wrong?

Scottish composer and actor Patrick Doyle has written music for and appeared in several of Kenneth Branagh's films. Before coming to films, Doyle received his education at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. In 1981, he appeared in his debut feature, Chariots of Fire (1981).
