Good songs.. not so good recording mix..
I was in high anticipation for this album upon it's release, unfortunately I came out with mixed feelings. Overall solid release. The usual catchy chorus's and outstanding backup vocals. However, I am not a fan of the recording or the mix. The kick drum is one of the worst kick drums i've ever heard in a professional recording. Sometimes I mistake the kick drum for the snare drum! It sounds more like metal triggers than acoustic. Also, as per most 3 piece bands they double tracked the guitars, but when they did the double track they slightly varied some strumming and palm mute patterns giving it a more irratic and less solid feel particularly to a lot of intstrumental sections of the songs.. This could be an AMAZING album, but the poor drum recording and akward 2nd guitar track really hold this album back.
Again, it is an awesome release and definitely worth buying. Unfortunately it is plagued with recording and musical miscues

This album blew me away!!!!!!!
I just found this band recently. I ordered all three of their cd's at the same time from their website.... This band is amazing. They really have their own sound. Yes, they play a horror punk style, but don't sound like anybody else. I have to disagree with the comment written above saying that if you have one cd, you have them all. There has been a big progression from the first album to the most recent. Don't get me wrong, the first is cathcy and cool....... but the new one is just brutal! It's very aggresive and evil:) The hooks are huge, and the riffs are great. I can't wait to see you guys live next month fot the first time. BUY THIS RECORD!!!!!!
