Album Review

Download's second ablum for Nettwerk, Download III, finds cEvin Key toning down his industrial roots in favor of longer stretches of experimental electronica. That's not to say that he has completely abandoned industrial — after all, this is one the founding fathers of the genre — but there's simply more texture and interesting detours than before, making it of interest to listeners who usually find industrial noisy and impenetrable.

Wowzers

"Cunning" is that one song that fits in so well with the feel of the whole album, but in one instant changes your perception of music altogether. With collaborator Phil Western (a.k.a., "Philth") this album is something more than sublime. Generally everyone likes it initially, but there is always something that keeps drawing you into it. Really great production and overall composition. cevin is my god

Beyond Awesome

This album is a total trip! A good trip, too. Some parts are mellow, some parts are more intense, but whatever the pace, it stays interesting. It's addicting and fun to listen to. I think this might be my favorite album by Download. I can't recommend it enough.

The Best!!!!!

By far the best Download album,cevin never seems to let me down in anything he does!! sometimes a song is best listened to when you close your eyes,a great example is "Were".brown and other earthtoned colors morphing into something like a late afternoon in summer,shadowcast on a brickwall.The day is set before something tragic is going to happen,or perhaps the relief after something tragic has happened.....werewolves and birds.
