The Greatest Hip-Hop Album Of All Time
When Nas first released Illmatic, he was immediately hoisted up as one of the greatest lyricsist rappers of all time. Critics still rave about this album's unique brand of style, and so do I. Nas paints pictures with his lyrics through the art of storytelling, and Illmatic's vantage point applies to everybody, whether you grew up in the projects or not. I download a lot of music, but Illmatic (and Nas in general) deserves your money. Buy this album; you won't regret it.
