The New Standard
Ever since Lecrae's (Rebel) Album, a new level was reached in Holy Hip Hop. The heart stopping lyrics mixed with hard hitting, magnificently epic beats on par (and even surpassing) anything on the secular market. "I'm A Believer" is no exception. The use of Auto Tune is not off putting or obnoxious as it is many song on the market, but rather cleverly and concisely injected into the hook of the song. Yes, Soye's Auto Tune chorus comes through almost as a plead to the world to look into the eyes of a believer. Then with amazing ferocity and precision, "T-Dot's" verse comes in full force with startling conviction as he explains the cost and pride of being a follower of Christ. Not to mention Reach Record's youngest artist's (Trip Lee) satisfying guest appearance as he rips through the second verse with a swagger unlike no other. Now although some people may have reservations for the use of "Swagger" in Christian Hip Hop, one must realize that it is okay to be boastful in the LORD and be confident in His majesty, and that is what Trip Lee does very well. This is a masterpiece, nothing more and nothing less, not just as a Rap song, but as music in general. It hits its target and sets the bar to a higher level than ever before!

amazing as usual. great beat, great lyrics, great message......keep it up
Good but..
This is a great song don't get me wrong, but I don't like how the engineer(s) who is working with Tedashii is producing his voice. It sounds like they are throwing minor pitch corrections on his voice and throwing a minor double on his voice, and the doubled voice has A LOT of reverb. I could let them know my trick and give him more of a punchy voice, and I think it would work better. But we will see how the album goes. And I love that they are only charging .99 instead of 1.29
