Album Review
Imaginations from the Other Side teams Blind Guardian with Metallica producer Flemming Rasmussen. Since Blind Guardian was always somewhat influenced by Metallica, the match is a natural one, and results in one of the band's better albums, balancing the epic, neo-classical elements of their sound nicely with the power metal grooves. The band's compositional skill reaches its peak on Imaginations, making it their best and most complex work to date. [The 2007 JVC Victor edition included bonus tracks.]

Raw, genuine, and powerful
This is probably Blind Guardian's most intense album, and contains some of the finest heavy metal riffing the band has ever recorded. It is currently my favorite of theirs due to its rawness and majestic fury. Like any really good album, it only gets better with every listen, and the songs that did not immediately appeal will ultimately turn out to be the better ones.

Great album, raw untamable metal. Loved it. Keep up the songs.
