Although not the Beth we're used to

This is still a great CD. It's more rock then anything she's done solo; a little more of a band-like sound to it. But none the less it's great stuff. It took me 2 listens to really like it because it's not what I'm used to from Beth but after that 2nd listen, I really enjoyed. Best songs are 'Run' (because of the chopping licks on the opening), 'Hold Me Through the Night' nice slow song, 'Immortal' just becasue it's an awesome song, & 'God Bless You'. But you'll have to agree ''Am I the One' sounds alot like her more current work. My least fav song is 'Spiders In My Bed'. And good luck with them adding 'Hiding Underwater' That song isn't availble in this country. Quite note: Although the first song here is listed as 'Immortal' it's actally called 'Run'. 'Immortal' is the 7th song.

itunes i love you but i'm angry

I really really REALLY wish they would sell hiding underwater in the U.S. Why do you do this to us itunes? This is not the only song that I can't get on itunes because it's unavailable in the U.S. and i am getting a little upset.

I found Beth by accidently hearing Blame the Moon and i never stopped. she is a goddess with a voice, although they named the 1st track wrong, it's Run not Immortal...LOVE HER!

Los Angeles-based blues-rocker Beth Hart began playing piano at age four, later attending L.A.'s High School for the Performing Arts as a vocal and cello major. By 1993, she was a regular fixture of the local club circuit, by 1993 collaborating with bassist Tal Herzberg and guitarist Jimmy Khoury; with the addition of drummer Sergio Gonzalez early the following year, the Beth Hart Band was complete, and after signing to Atlantic's Lava imprint, the group issued its debut album, Immortal, in 1996....
