The Best Band You Never Heard of... Yet
I've had my eye on Friday's Child for about five years now and this album captures that time perfectly. From the songs I first heard them play like Chasing Game and Blood Moon to new favorites, its a good sampling from their catalog and a great place to start your Friday's Child collection. Tom Walker is a strong songwriter, equally comfortable with metaphoric and personal storytelling. It's not your mama's acoustic rock and its not your local alternative station. Friday's Child defies category as expertly and effortlessly as their craft their songs. Turn your ear this way for a moment and these boys won't leave your playlist.
