Cool EP
1.29 a piece for the songs or 2.99 for all five together... what, Apple, do you think I'm on crack or something?
Though, even if I was, I'd still probably go for the 2.99. Crackheads like good deals too.
Another Fine ATOMIC TOM Release
Yet again, the guys of ATOMIC TOM put out another release with nothing but solid music. On "Collide" the band does what they do best: start soft, and slowly build to a dramatic, no holds barred sound. "Break My Heart Around You" is a catchy pop number that you'll find yourself singing along to, almost immediately. Not surprising it's the first single off the EP. As a bonus, you get two acoustic versions of the singles, as well as an acoustic version of "Red Light Warning Sign" - one of the best songs on their previous Album, The Moment. As usual with ATOMIC TOM, there isn't a bad song on the release, but I want to draw attention to the acoustic versions. What's great about the acoustics is they show the range the band has. They are not just an overproduced studio production, like some bands. You know, the kind of band that sounds great on the album, but take away the cool effects and post-production and there's just nothing left but magnified flaws. They members of ATOMIC TOM are musicians, and it shows, because they sound as good, if not better, live. When they pare the music down to nothing but unprocessed instruments and raw voices, you find new reasons to love the song, and the band. My only complaint is this isn't a full length album.
Absolute Ear Candy. Inspirational!!
These guys are crazy talented. They keep on getting better which is scary because they already are absolutely AMAZING! This is a must-have! Can't wait for the next album!!! 5 Stars!!!!!
