hell yea.
This album is fantastic. I have only heard the electric songs because that is just the demo I received, but that part of the album is insane. Mark Erickson, the lead guitarist, unleashes multiple new riffs, especially in "Hello, Hello", "Summertime", and "Social Scene". This album truly shows the talent of not only of the band, but of each indivudual member. Bass riffs in "Summertime" are excellent and the vocals in "Lock Yourself in the Car" and "A Little More For Me" and sweet to the ear. "New Vietnam" is a GREAT remix of the song on Just Another Blast, and the mixing job is unheard of. I have yet to hear the acoustic songs in In Place(s), but I am sure that I will be just as pleased.
Lots of talent here!
There is a lot of talent in this band but it lacks a uniquely defined sound. Some songs sound like matchbox 20/goo goo dolls, some are organic and unique, and one or two even sound like the killers.

i remember hearing these guys when i was 8 years old at my pool during the crab feast. i really wish they would put more of their music up.
