Ready Freddie Washington Is Finally Ready
Many times a familiar bass style, has teased us over past 25 years, revealing his musical talents under various artist. From Herbie Hancock, Patrice Rushen, Miles Davis, George Duke, Rachel Ferrell, Anita Baker, Michael Jackson, The Temptations, and too many countless others to name. At last we've been privileged to hear his musical voice and talent solo. Thank you, much Mr. Washington. This is truly Freddie's Grove! H.S.L.

this is a great cd. i recomend it to all jazz lovers

We all know Freddie as the "Pocket of Thunder" on many of the hit songs we knowingly or unknowingly listen to
on our iPods everyday. Freddie has built a reputation on/of recording solid bass lines behind some of the worlds biggest
& most popular artist.
On "In the moment" he steps out front and makes a very strong debut statement! I downloaded the CD about a month prior
to this review and I find myself callin' it up every time I get in the car. Cool thing.......is...my wife who is not a major fan of smooth jazz,
thinks the CD is perfect for that...........peaceful ride home!
One of the things I really appreciate is Freddie did not follow/copy what all the bass players that sound alike were doin'! "The Grooves"
are the smoothest (Wave Ready), the melodies are well thought out & musical and as usual the performance is beyond!
Another cool thing is some of the effects he experiments with.................
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GIVE THIS A LISTEN!!!!!!
