Lovely and surprising.
In The Wooded Forest will blow your mindhole. It's deliciously different from anything else that has crawled into my ears in years. This music curls up in a sunlit corner of my mind. The effervescent lovechild of indie rock, synthpop, and anthemic triumph, Savoir Adore will not disappoint.

A self-coined "fantasy rock" duo, Brooklyn's Savoir Adore were born of a rather odd recording session in 2007. After signing to the Cantora label — home of the likeminded neo-psychedelic group MGMT — Savoir Adore released their first album, The Scientific Findings of Dr. Rousseau, in 2008. Although the group recorded its unique work as a pair, the dual vocalists rounded out their sound in concert with a three-piece backup band.
