2 Words.... LOVE IT!

Wow! What a great album. Just enough variety to keep you interested, but true to smooth jazz smoothness. I just really enjoy liustening to this disc! Great work to all the artists!

SmoothJazz.com Review

When I told you about Richard’s previous release, ROCK STEADY awhile back, I wrote a prescription for that album as a way to stay positive in what can be a very un-positive World. Just looking over the current headlines, I’d say we’re all ready for another course of treatment, and Mr. Elliot has happily obliged, with his newest album, IN THE ZONE. More great, fresh, signature Richard Elliot performances, starting with the first radio single (and smash hit) “Boom Town,” are sure to leave you feeling better. Co-produced with Jeff Lorber, this CD is just one more example of why Richard Elliot continues to be a true Smooth Jazz superstar. Nine originals and one awesome cover (Marvin Gaye’s “Inner City Blues”) have all the elements that have made Mr. Elliot’s music so appealing for all these many years. Get it, listen to it, groove to it, and feel great ~SCOTT O'BRIEN

Elliot landed his first job while still a teenager with Natalie Cole and the Pointer Sisters. A few years...
