Editors are gone....

Terrible album... I was shocked at first, and i still am. The Editors made legit music, and they threw it all away to make some synth-based crap album

Tore it up on this album!

"Papillon" is an amaizing track! you feel like your instantly partying in vegas when listening to that song, excellent track, great synth, almost trance like song, the rest of the album is also pretty good, its very dark, they hit you with lots of different sounds and beats, i totally recommend the album and at $8.91 its a steal!

I have nothing against synth, but....

This album is way too sterile for Editors. The lead singer's voice became a quick favorite of mine with their last two albums; it fit the style. Raw, energetic, sinewy. This is...nothing special. What can I say? It isn't bad, it isn't great. There's nothing wrong with them attempting to add more to their sound but the change is so drastic that it stifles their creativity instead of supporting it. At one time Editors had stood out to me as something different, now they're just another basic indie band among the sea of 'those that sound the same'.
