One Hand, One Heart - In This Together
Welcome to the wistful world of Atlanta-based singer-songwriter, John Zedd. I love "In This Together," as it captures our melodic sensibilities and yearning to be a part of something greater than ourselves. High in harmonies, inclusive of a panoply of instruments (think Old South Appalachia meets New South city-folk hybrid), impressive production values, and just a whole lot of fun. Zedd (and his bandmates) must have long arms for, once again, his reach exceeds his grasp. Buy this album now!!
blown away!
I'd give this six stars if I could. It's been on repeat since I got it. This is one of those albums that sounds good the very first time you listen to it. Highlights: Beautiful Girl, Home By Now, and Follow Your Heartache.
Masterpiece
John Zedd has built a fan base in a grass roots manner with amazing live performances and extremely beautiful music. He and his band deserve to be more well-known outside of the southeast U.S., where they play. John Zedd may not be a household name, but he should be. I love this album, especially Home By Now and Dancing in the Kitchen. Love it!
