Jack's Mannequinn is Simply Brilliant

Buyt this album, you will not be disappointed. The passion Andrew puts into his music is impossible to miss. It is refreshing and unique. Some of the best stuff I have heard in a very long time.

Perfect - Exactly as we could expect from Jack's Mannequin

This EP is even better than "The Ghost Overground" which is tough to beat. The lyrics are chilling and along with them, the melodies. Each track is heartfelt and comes from experiences no one should have to have, but Andrew turns them into a positive that will help others through music. You owe it to yourself to give this a listen even if it is not a genre you would normally listen to.

.."All alone on a road going nowhere...at full speed"

This EP features "Swim" from the soon-to-be-released album "The Glass Passenger." It also has three cuts that did not make the album. Of the three, my favorite by far is "At Full Speed." It is an acoustic driven song, but also has a short piano solo after the first verse and a guitar solo after the second verse. It is quite different from every other Jack's Mannequin song and thus, it sticks out and yes is brilliantly brilliant. The next best track is "Swim", an inspirational song that features some of my favorite lines of any Jack's song..."I swim for brighter days despite the absense of sun" and "The currents will pull you away from your love, just keep your head above" are just awesome. Of the other two songs, I actually prefer "Sleazy Wednesday" over "Cell Phone". I am not sure if it is because I find the line "On my cellular phone" utterly ridiculous or if the upbeat sound of "Sleazy Wednesday" is actually catchy. Jack's Mannequin is one of the better bands here in the last few years and their new album will hopefully bring their awesomeness to the masses. September 30th everyone, the wait is almost over!!
