Disturbed's fourth studio album begins forebodingly with an apocalyptic air-raid siren akin to Black Sabbath's "War Pigs," but where "War Pigs" rails against waging war, the title track here punches with prideful fighting lyrics that almost sound tailor-made for a military recruiting commercial. Those hardcore metal fans who have previously turned their noses up at Disturbed for not sounding heavy enough (or for being too melodic) may be pleasantly surprised at Indestructible's more virulent playing and conceptual songwriting, which is not to say that the chorus on "Inside The Fire" isn't as catchy as the song is brutal. David Draiman sings and screams like a man possessed as his lyrics reveal a dramatic narrative about someone who can only become reunited with his suicidal lover's soul by taking his own life to join her in the fiery cantos of hell.

Disturbed does it again, a Masterpiece
I have been a Disturbed fan since I was twelve. I am now 19 years old, I love Disturbed. I remember when the Sickness was huge! Everyone loved it. When Believe was released I was absolutely blown away by the depth and significance of the tracks, especially Remember. David Draiman is a great lyricist and an even greater singer, he can communicate a message like many others only wish they could. Ten Thousand Fists was Disturbed rally cry, while not as deep as Believe, it was still a great cd. I have been waiting two and a half years for Indestructible. I am happy to say my time waiting wasn't wasted. This cd is simply amazing, Draiman does it again. I could not be happier with this cd, while it still appeals to the hard core rockers it has a deep meaning of hope and the unbreakable strength of the human spirit. I can honestly say I love every track, this is Disturbed's best yet!! I don't know if Draiman will ever be able to outdo himself. He is simply amazing! We love Disturbed!! \m/
An awesome new, evolved sound for disturbed
This album is an amazing, rougher new sound for Disturbed, mixing all of their roots togther for this incredible album. If you are a disturbed, or any hard rock fan this album should be in our collection.
