Album Review
During the fourth quarter of 2011, Trey Songz remained one of the most successful single artists of his era. From 2009 through the release of this five-track stopgap EP, he racked up seven solo Top Ten R&B singles and appeared as a guest vocalist on a couple others. Inevitable certainly resembles a brief collection of glorified studio scraps — something released to capitalize on holiday sales — to maintain the product flow. None of it is poor, but it’s all B-grade material for Songz, who boasts and flirts over mostly slow, low-key productions from primary associate Troy Taylor.

Trey SONGZ exudes EXCELLENCE!
As an avid fan and supporter of Tremaine, I must say it is refreshing to witness how he has grown as an artist! From "Gotta Make It" to "Anticipation 2", Trey has given us HIM! Honest & Raw, his imperfect yet beautifully conveyed lyrical content is breathtaking. Inevitable is by far an Amazing EP that Supercedes Excellence! It is also a fantastic pacifier as we patiently and sometimes impatiently await the highly anticipated "Chapter V!" Listening to Trey on a daily basis brings a smile to my face and an inspiration to my heart! Trey, if you should read this, please know that I appreciate your craft and giving heart alike! You are so much more than a sex symbol, you are a legend and an icon. Inevitable is as awesome as the man who sings the words. Continue to be blessed ad encouraged!
