Finally!
I've been waiting for this awesome soundtrack to come out on itunes since the movie came out. Standout tracks are "Ghost of Love" and "Polish Poem". The soundtrack and film are beautiful, surreal, and cool.
You Got To Swing Your Hips......
David Lynch has got the skills! He has got a way to transport ordinary visuals and sounds into new landscapes of unfamiliar hieghts and depths. His talent for compostion is stark and dazzeling. There is no way he is human because his works are like a bottomless sky. It made me so happy to discover Beck is obviously respected by him, another talent of frightening genius. Wish I could say the goods end there, but this work is too alive to imprison with words.
Perfect! Captures the mood of the film.
This is the perfect soundtrack to go with a perfect film. If you don't have three hours to throw away at the time, and you want to revisit INLAND EMPIRE, this is the perfect choice. Totally captures the mood of the film. Don't listen to this one late at night...especially if you are alone. The selections by Krzysztof Penderecki are amazing. I am a fan of his work as well, and you may recognize these tracks from THE SHINING. Purchase this album ASAP! Thank you, iTunes!
