The albums Ginuwine made with Timbaland in the late ‘90s showed it was possible to be both soulful and futuristic, and thereby provided the template for contemporary R&B innovators like The-Dream, Ryan Leslie and Bobby Valentino. With A Man’s Thoughts, Ginuwine settles into his role as elder statesman within a landscape he helped to build. The songs are split between the coy flirtations of a bachelor, and the grownup affirmations of an older, wiser man. In “Touch Me” and “Show Off” one can still recognize the brash playboy who once invited listeners to “ride it / my pony,” but a bigger part of A Man’s Thoughts deals with humility and the need for companionship. “Even When I’m Mad” shows a man who is willing to put aside his grievances for love, and when Ginuwine sings the refrain to “Last Chance,” he sounds like he means it: “If this is my last chance to love you / I’m gonna play it like a grown man ought to.”

by i wish itunes lowered their pricesThere should be. Because this is the first and probably the last album I've ever heard that I can actually listen to the whole thing without wanting to skip any tracks. So why are they all 1.29? I mean siriously, don't get me wrong, this should be a popular album, but it isn't and not even Soulja Boy has every song 1.29.

by cwyhateGinuwine can make an album every ten years and he will always come out on top.i consider my self one of his biggest fans anything he's done i have.i love the new cd i haven't stop listening to it since i bought it, it's crazy when my two year old know every song and will get in the car and say put ginuwine on mommie. me and her gone be T R O U B L E.
