Still genius - but no "complete my album"

Al shows once again that he has his finger on the plastic pulse of pop culture. With pastiche tributes to the Doors, the White Stripes, and Queen as as well as a parody so clever it actually keeps the original title. Unfortunately, iTunes is not allowing the "complete my album" feature for folks who have already downloaded Craigslist or Whatever You Like. Yeah, you can just buy the additional songs for basically the same result, but it means that the album wont "chart" as an album sale for those purchases. Al is doing something very innovative here in "leaking" his own songs to fans, and actually letting them pay for them. I wish the iTunes store would back him up a little more, since he is trying to use the great features of iTunes to the advantage of his fans.

Weird Al's style parodies are the best!

Over the years I have come to regard Al's style parodies as his finest work. With out a doubt his keen understanding and fine listening ear really show on this EP. Kudos to his band as always. They are the perfect accoutrement to his genius. Skipper Dan is my personal favorite on this one - very Weezer meets Fountains of Wayne in my opinion. Craigslist is a Doors-esque song and CNR is White Stripes-ish. Ringtone has a Queen quality to it. Whatever You Like is the only true song parody (TI's song by the same title) but unlike TI's (no disrepsect) I can play this one for my mother! Thanks AL! Keep it up!

Yes!!!

Hillarious, catchy, Al!! For 4 origanals, that's pretty darn good!! Whatever You Like has been out since October, but who cares?? All of the songs on here are funny in their own way, and if you really give them a chance, you will find you love them too! Buy now!!!
