I'm not into the sell-out band called Nickelback, As much as I used to be. But hey, this is a pretty cool song, Carlos is great on the guitar. great chorus. This song actually makes Chad Kroeger worth listening to.

VERY good song

Okay, so what I get from this is a great song obviously written by both Santana and Kroeger. You have parts that come off as brilliant, obviously from Santana, then the others that clearly were written by the same mind that composed "How You Remind Me". Now, I'll first off say that Santana is among the absolute best artists of the past thirty years. You can't go wrong with Carlos' incredible playing skills, and vocals as well, which I wish he would have contributed more to this song, which leads me to my next point.
While Chad Kroeger may not be the worst vocalist in the world, he's certainly not the best. This is one of the better songs he has ever sung in, and that's all thanks to help from the genius he's playing alongside. It's clear that a lot of work went into this and it paid off majorly.
Nickelback may not be as bad as everyone says–in fact I love a lot of their songs–but they're not rock gods anywhere near some of the greater bands, namely Santana. But let's be fair; there's plenty of other, HORRIBLE bands that get way too much radio play, namely Maroon 5 and Gwen Stefani who should be bashed a lot more than Nickelback; I mean come on, the guys aren't THAT BAD.
But getting back to the point, I think the vocals here really call for Kroeger's singing. In short, it sounds like something he would sing. But the work of both of these men on here is absolutely awesome, and after watching the video it not only brings back great memories of Santana's earlier days but also shows that he will forever be among the greatest guitarists of all time, and Chad Kroeger does have what it takes to do great things.

Santana is the primary exponent of Latin-tinged rock, particularly due to its combination of Latin percussion (congas, timbales, etc.) with bandleader Carlos Santana's distinctive, high-pitched lead guitar playing. The group was the last major act to emerge from the psychedelic San Francisco music scene...
