Into the Light

Into the Light ( For Alex and Taylor )

     

I wrote the song, Into the Light, moments after finding out about the passing of a second teenager from our community. The two children passed within days of one another. I could only cry out to these beautiful spirits with this simple song, knowing that their families and friends were in great agony, as my family had gone through the loss of my brother when he was only twenty - two. I recorded this as I wrote it, singing from the heart and the heavens. An expression of raw love to mark the loss and memory of these two children and to offer something to help heal the hearts of those who loved them. No fancy recording here. Just into the Mac with nothing but love.
