What can I say? I'm from Denton, TX, so I've had the opportunity to watch Dixie Witch progress over the past seven years. Better, bigger, fatter, thicker, heavier. If you've not caught them live, do it. ANY fans of the modern stoner rock will find this band ... and this album ... kickin' y ain the balls. Do yourself a favor and pick up this album, learn it, then catch a Dixie Witch show. PURE rock fury ...

Drawing deep from the well of Southern rock and hard rock in general, Dixie Witch is, fittingly, from Denton, Texas. Trinidad Leal (drums and vocals), Clayton Mills (guitar), and Curt Christensen (bass) have been playing together since 1999. The trio's first record, Into the Sun, was produced by the band for Texas-based Brainticket Records and released in the summer of 2001.
